Mia Ghulam Parwar signs condolence book on death of former Emir of Qatar

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General and former MP Mia Ghulam Parwar has signed a condolence book expressing deep grief and condolences on the death of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the father of the current Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and the country's former Emir.

He went to the Qatar Embassy in Dhaka at 11:30 am on Tuesday (July 14) and signed the condolence book.

At that time, Qatari Ambassador to Bangladesh Seraya Ali Al-Qahtani welcomed the Secretary General and accepted condolences on behalf of the bereaved royal family and people of Qatar.

After signing the condolence book, Mia Ghulam Parwar prayed for the forgiveness of the soul of the late Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani. He also expressed deep condolences on behalf of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami to the bereaved royal family, the current Emir, the government of Qatar and the people of the country.

During the meeting, both sides expressed hope that the long-standing friendly and brotherly relations between Bangladesh and Qatar will be further strengthened in the future.

Barrister Mir Ahmed bin Kashem Arman, Foreign Affairs Advisor to the Leader of the Opposition, was present at the time.
