Model couple Sauban-Abeer separate after 7-month marriage

Pakistani model duo Sauban Umais and Abeer Asad Khan have decided to separate, just seven months after their wedding.

The couple, who tied the knot in February in an intimate ceremony attended by close family and friends, shared their happiness with fans at the time through vibrant social media posts.

On Tuesday, Sauban took to Instagram Stories to confirm that the marriage was ending. He wrote that while the divorce was still in process, the decision had been made. “... wish her nothing but good luck,” he added.

A Fairy-Tale Wedding That Captivated Fans
Their February nikkah had drawn attention online for its understated elegance. Abeer wore a gold-and-pink embroidered frock with fitted trousers and a matching embellished dupatta, paired with traditional khussas. She opted for minimal makeup, loose hair, and delicate accessories, including a tika and floral bangles.

Sauban complemented her look in an ivory sherwani with a matching shawl and khussas.

The couple captioned their wedding photos with the words: “Allah is the best planner, 01-02-2025.”

At the time, celebrities such as Ayeza Khan and Sadaf Kanwal congratulated the pair warmly, expressing joy over their union.

A Short-Lived Marriage
The announcement of their split has surprised fans, as the couple had been seen as one of the industry’s most admired pairs. Neither Sauban nor Abeer has commented further on the reasons behind the separation.
