More than 300 US troops have been injured since the start of the war with Iran, the United States Central Command (US Central Command) said.
US Navy Captain Tim Hawkins said that about 303 US troops have been injured since the start of Operation 'Epic Fury'. Most of them have minor injuries, and 273 have already returned to duty.
A US official, who did not wish to be named, told AFP that 10 soldiers were still in serious condition. According to the latest information, 13 more US soldiers have been killed in the war. Of these, 7 lost their lives in the Gulf region and 6 in Iraq.
On the other hand, in a separate announcement on Friday, the Iranian military said that hotels where US troops will be stationed will also be considered targets. “When all the American troops are in a hotel, in our eyes it becomes an American base,” military spokesman Abolfazl Shekarchi told state television.
Meanwhile, the Iranian government has not yet released its latest casualty figures. However, a US-based monitoring group said on March 23 that
some 1,167 Iranian soldiers had been killed in the war and the whereabouts of 658 others were still unknown.
