A luxury Boeing 747-8I plane worth about $400 million, gifted by Qatar to US President Donald Trump, is now the center of discussion across the United States. Many are also calling the plane a 'flying palace' due to its cutting-edge technology, luxurious interior and special security measures. US President Donald Trump unveiled the plane in public for the first time.

The luxury Boeing 747-8 plane was displayed at a special ceremony at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, outside Washington on Friday (June 19). Trump walked down the stairs of the plane and exchanged greetings with Air Force officials at the ceremony. He then addressed the military members.

Trump said, "There will be no other plane like this. It is absolutely unique. It is considered the most luxurious plane in the world. When it was built, a standard was maintained that may never be seen again." He added that the new aircraft is so large that a special hangar has been built to house it. He also said that this new Air Force One will lead the huge air show to be held in Washington on July 4 to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States' independence.

At the event, Trump exchanged greetings with Air Force officials as he descended the stairs of the aircraft.

On the other hand, the US Air Force said that the aircraft will soon begin its 'commissioning flight' or final test flight. This will be its last major test before taking over the responsibility of carrying the president. According to the Air Force, the aircraft is now being prepared for service after completing the new red, white and blue color scheme and necessary government changes. This will ensure safe and uninterrupted air communication for the US president.

The US Air Force said that this aircraft, known as the 'VC-25B Bridge', will be used to reduce pressure on the president's fleet. It will serve as an interim solution until Boeing's new generation presidential transport aircraft is fully operational. The aircraft has an interesting history. It was originally designed for the use of the Qatari royal family. Later, the Emir of Qatar gave it to the United States as a gift. Due to the long delay in the delivery of Boeing's new presidential transport aircraft, the Trump administration took the initiative to make the aircraft suitable for presidential use.

One of the attractions of this aircraft is its luxurious interior. Since it was built for the Qatari royal family, it has a high-quality VIP cabin, state-of-the-art passenger facilities and a specially designed interior. Much of this has been left unchanged to save time and money.

The US Air Force said that this aircraft, known as the 'VC-25B Bridge', will be used to reduce the pressure on the presidential fleet.

However, not only luxury, but also security have been redesigned in the aircraft. It has a multi-dimensional and secure communication system, through which the president can make necessary state decisions even while in the air. The plane has also been equipped with satellite-based internet.

In addition, a team of experts has added various protective measures to the plane to identify and deal with potential technical risks. As a result, it is claimed that it can fly safely even in high-risk situations. However, the plane is not yet fully ready to carry the president. It is currently undergoing various tests at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. It will be officially ready for use by the president only after the final safety checks are completed.
