Top US scientist linked to ’dangerous’ coronavirus research

Anthony Fauci, former US President Joe Biden's chief medical advisor, funded a mysterious laboratory in Wuhan, China. This was claimed by former US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on Thursday (June 18). The Covid-19 or coronavirus pandemic is believed to have spread from that laboratory.
Releasing a document on her last day in office, Gabbard said that Fauci led the Biden administration's pandemic response strategy during the Covid-19 outbreak in the United States. He allocated millions of dollars of US taxpayer money for 'dangerous gain-of-function research' on coronavirus conducted at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV).
The statement said, 'This document reveals Fauci's direct role in influencing and controlling the intelligence investigation into Covid-19. It has also been proven that he lied about the virus research when he testified before Congress in 2024, saying he did not know or participate in it.
Gabbard’s office also claimed that Fauci funded “risky coronavirus research” that was in the interests of big pharmaceutical companies and worth trillions of dollars to create a “universal vaccine.”
The statement said, “Fauci influenced intelligence agencies to support the theory of the natural and animal origin of the virus in order to hide his dangerous research. Fauci later became a national epidemiologist and openly encouraged false, misleading information and censorship.”
Tulsi Gabbard, who left her position as intelligence director in Donald Trump’s administration, said that Anthony Fauci’s tactics to hide the truth were “taken from the Deep State’s playbook. The Covid-19 pandemic has brought untold suffering and suffering to countless people around the world.” "After years of lies, censorship and suppression of information, the American people deserve transparency, truth and accountability."
However, there was no immediate response from Anthony Fauci on these allegations.
Incidentally, Fauci served as the head of the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) for almost 38 years.
