The US military will implement a naval blockade against Iran on Tuesday (July 14). The Joint Maritime Information Center (JMIC) led by the US Navy has reported this information.
A warning from JMIC said that the blockade will be effective on all Iranian seaports, oil terminals and coastal areas from 8 pm GMT on Tuesday. This instruction will apply to ships carrying flags of any country in the world.
The statement also said that any ship attempting to enter or exit the blockaded area without permission may be stopped, forced to change course or seized. If the instructions are not followed, force will be used if necessary.
However, JMIC said that there will be no obstruction to the normal movement of ships going to or from destinations other than Iran through the Strait of Hormuz.
