July 7, 2026: How much is a 22-carat gold bhori?

Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has reduced the price of gold in the country's market again due to the decline in the price of acidic gold. This time, the price of a 22-carat gold bhori has been reduced by Tk 3,266. The organization has set the price of a 22-carat gold bhori at Tk 2,25,290 including VAT.

BAJUS announced this information in a notification on Monday (July 6) at 12:15 pm. The new price came into effect from 12:15 pm on that day. Gold will be sold at the same price today, Tuesday as well.

According to the new price, the price of a 22-carat gold bhori (11.664 grams) in the country's market will be Tk 2,25,290 including VAT. In addition, the price of a 21-carat bhori has been set at Tk 2,15,142, a 18-carat bhori at Tk 1,84,757 and a traditional gold bhori at Tk 1,50,932.

Earlier, on Friday (July 3), Bajus had increased the price of a 22-carat gold bar by Tk 4,374 to Tk 2,28,556 including VAT.

Bajus said that the price of pure gold in the local market has decreased. As a result, the new price of gold including VAT has been determined considering the overall situation.

So far this year, the price of gold has been adjusted 87 times in the country's market. Where the price has been increased 43 times, reduced 43 times and VAT has been adjusted 1 time.
