14 people including 6 doctors to accompany Khaleda Zia to London

BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia will be taken to London for advanced treatment as per the decision of the Medical Board. An air ambulance has already been prepared for her. A total of 14 people including 6 doctors will accompany the BNP Chairperson to London.

A list of the 14 people including the doctor was released in a notification signed by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Thursday (December 4).

According to the list, Khaleda Zia will be accompanied by her daughter-in-law Sayeda Shamila Rahman among the family members. Besides, the party's acting chairman's assistant Md. Abdul Hai Mallick and the chairperson's assistant personal secretary Md. Masudur Rahman will also be on the London visit.

In addition, 6 doctors will accompany the BNP Chairperson to London. They are - Dr. Abu Zafar Md. Zahid Hossain, Dr. Mohammad Anamul Haque Chowdhury, Dr. Shahabuddin Talukder, Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammad Siddiqui, Dr. Nuruddin Ahmed, Dr. Zafar Iqbal and Dr. Mohammad Al Mamun.

Meanwhile, as part of the security, Hasan Shahriar Iqbal and Syed Samin Mahfuz of the Special Security Force will accompany the BNP Chairperson to London. In addition, Fatima Begum and Rupa Sikder have also been included in the list of accompanying persons as housemaids.

It is to be noted that the Medical Board has decided that BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will be taken to London by air ambulance on Thursday midnight or Friday (December 5) morning. AZM Zahid Hossain, one of her personal doctors and a member of the party's standing committee, gave this information at a press conference in front of the capital's Evercare Hospital in the afternoon.
