The Bangladesh national cricket team will tour South Africa later this year to participate in a bilateral series. The Tigers will play two Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is during the tour.

The South African Cricket Board confirmed the detailed schedule of the tour of Bangladesh by releasing their domestic and international calendar for the 2026-27 season on Monday.

The tour will begin with a two-match Test series as part of the ICC World Test Championship. The first Test will begin in Johannesburg on November 15. The two teams will then face each other in the second Test from November 23. This series is very important for Bangladesh in terms of the points table of the Test Championship.

The white-ball battle will begin as soon as the Test series ends. The three-match ODI series will begin from December 1. The next two matches in the series will be held on December 4 and 7. The tour will end with a three-match T20I series, which will be completed between December 10 and 13.

Cricket South Africa chief executive Foletsi Moseki said they are looking forward to hosting Bangladesh alongside Australia and England. According to him, each series will give teams an opportunity to prove their mettle ahead of the 2027 World Cup.
