After a month of bloody devastation, the United States and Iran are now facing each other at the ceasefire table. On the one hand, Washington has drawn up a final plan to completely eliminate Tehran's nuclear capabilities. To that end, US President Donald Trump has given a huge 15-point 'peace proposal'. In response, Iran has made an extremely 'impossible' move. They have retaliated with 5 strict conditions. These include an extreme ultimatum to take full control of the blocked Strait of Hormuz and to permanently withdraw all US military bases from the Middle East. Tehran has even demanded huge financial compensation for the war.

Meanwhile, Pakistan and Turkey are continuing diplomatic activities between the two sides to end the war. Pakistan has conveyed the ceasefire proposal made by the US to Iran. Preparations are underway for a secret meeting of US officials with top Iranian officials in Islamabad or Turkey today. Harun Armagan, the vice chairman of Turkey's ruling party, said Ankara was also exchanging messages to ease tensions between Tehran and Washington. As a result of this diplomatic contact, a Thai oil tanker safely passed the blockaded Strait of Hormuz with Iran's special permission for the first time after a 28-day closure, the Bangkok Corporation confirmed.

Amidst this diplomatic activity, Donald Trump boasted, "We have won the war." He claimed that Tehran's military and communications systems had been completely destroyed and that they were "desperate" for a deal. Trump's claim was echoed by Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz. He said that the Israeli army had already dropped more than 15,000 bombs on Iran since February 28, four times more than in the conflict last year. On the other hand, the Iranian Red Crescent said that more than 82,000 civilian facilities, including 281 hospitals, have been destroyed in this US-Israeli aggression so far, and 243 students and teachers have lost their lives.

While the US and Israel claim victory, the picture on the ground tells a different story. Israeli Army Radio confirmed that Iran launched four missile attacks on various cities, including Tel Aviv, in just 40 minutes on Tuesday evening. Several buildings collapsed in the city of Bnei Brak in this attack, injuring at least 12 people. In addition, Iraqi armed groups close to Iran have carried out at least 23 successful operations targeting various US military installations in the Middle East in the last 24 hours. The fire of war has also spread to Kuwait. On Wednesday, a terrible drone attack at Kuwait International Airport caused a major fire in a fuel tank.

What is in Trump's 15-point peace proposal: Although the full list of proposals has not yet been published, several of its important conditions have been revealed in the US and Israeli media. These include: 1. Iran's Natanz, Isfahan and Fordow nuclear facilities must be completely shut down and destroyed. 2. Full supervision and transparency by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) must be ensured in all types of Iran's nuclear activities. 3. Support for armed groups (proxies) active in various countries in the Middle East must be stopped. Iran must refrain from providing financial and weapons support to these groups. 4. Iran's current nuclear capabilities must be completely destroyed. 5. Iran must give a written commitment that it will never try to build or acquire nuclear weapons. 6. No nuclear material can be enriched on Iranian soil. All currently enriched material must be transferred to the IAEA. 7. The strategically important 'Strait of Hormuz' must be kept open at all times and it must be declared a 'free maritime zone'. 8. The number and range of Iran's missiles must be kept within certain limits; which can only be used for self-defense. A final decision on this matter will be made in the future. It is said that if Iran accepts these conditions, they will receive the following benefits: 1. The United States will provide technical and other assistance to build a civilian nuclear project in the city of Bushehr for the purpose of generating electricity. 2. All types of economic sanctions on Iran will be lifted. 3. Guarantees will be given that sanctions will never be imposed again in the future. The report also said that a temporary ceasefire for a month could be implemented while these proposals are being discussed. However, neither the White House nor the Iranian government has officially commented on this proposal or ceasefire so far.

Iran's five conditions: Iran has given five conditions to reach an agreement to end the war with Israel and the United States. These include- Iranian officials are seeking assurances that the war will not start again. In addition, they are seeking a new arrangement for the Strait of Hormuz, through which the area will be effectively under Iranian control. Iran has demanded the closure of US military bases throughout the Middle East. They have also sought financial compensation for the damage caused by the war. Iran has also called for action against the hostile media. They demand that media workers or individuals involved in propaganda or hostile activities against Iran be handed over to them or judicial action be taken against them.
