The United States sent the world's largest aircraft carrier to the Middle East to invade Iran and tear the country apart. But it could not reach the Islamic Republic's border. This sea monster has already become disabled. For this reason, it is returning from the Red Sea for repairs.

The Gerald R. Ford is returning to port after a fire and a 'broken toilet' problem. US officials said on Tuesday (March 17) that it will temporarily anchor in the port after a fire on the ship. This information was given on the 18th day of the war with Tehran.

America's newest and largest warship in the world is currently stationed in the Red Sea. According to two officials, it is scheduled to temporarily go to the port of Souda Bay on the island of Crete, Greece.

According to US media reports, the warship has encountered major problems with its toilet system while at sea. The report cited malfunctioning systems and long lines to use the bathrooms.

The warship has been deployed for nine months. Before arriving in the Middle East, it also took part in operations against Venezuela in the Caribbean. Such a long deployment has raised questions about the morale of the sailors on board and the warship's combat readiness.

About 200 sailors were treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in the ship's main laundry area, an official said. It took more than 30 hours to bring the fire under control and damaged about 100 sleeping berths. US troops were later forced to sleep on the floor of hotel rooms.
