BNP leader appointed VC in DU, what Dr. Mahmuda Mitu said

BNP's Central Education Secretary Professor ABM Obaidul Islam has been appointed as the new VC of Dhaka University. National Citizen Party (NCP) Central Joint Member Secretary Dr. Mahmuda Mitu has expressed his anger over the appointment of party leaders to these important positions instead of merit.

In a status posted on his Facebook timeline on Monday, he wrote, "Quota or merit? The VC of the nation's university, who gave his life with the slogan, is now, with the slogan, "Lagare laga dhan laga." How disgusting!

In an earlier post, Dr. Mahmuda Mitu wrote, "The one with wet eyes is Bangladesh or that's you or me." I have heard this statement of Nahid Islam repeatedly since morning. I believe that many people did not feel the same feeling I felt after hearing your statement.

He wrote, "This feeling is of the young generation of Bangladesh. Those who were made aware of July politics." Those who do not want to take Bangladesh back to the old Bangladesh. But unfortunately we still have to fight over the July Charter and the referendum.

He further writes, it is not possible to say that life may have to be sacrificed. If we talk too much, who will kill us when? It is a shame for them that they do not have July inside them. They do not hold the July on which they formed the government today in their hearts. They do everything they can to avoid pressure.
