Sometimes various meals are organized at home. In addition to various delicious foods, sweets are one of them. Which more or less everyone eats. However, some people eat sweets in excess. Some eat sweets in small quantities thinking that it will harm their health. Although they eat less throughout the year, they eat a little more during festivals.

Eating too much sweets can have an impact on health. According to a report by Hindustan Times, Dr. Shubham Batsya, a gastroenterologist and hepatologist at Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj, Delhi, explained the consequences of eating too much sweets. He said why sweets can be more harmful than you think.

Harmful aspects of sweets:

Dr. Shubham said that sweets are more harmful than you think. The glow of the skin during festivals does not come from light, but from choice. Every extra bite of sweets silently sticks to collagen. Which takes away the glow of the skin and accelerates aging.

He says, eating sweets is not just a matter of weight, it is a matter of youth. Therefore, before eating too much sweets, ask yourself, do you want radiance or wrinkles. Sweets not only increase weight, but also gradually reduce youth.

How to eat sweets without harming your health:
According to this doctor, sweets contain sugar, which binds to the body's collagen and elastin proteins. These proteins work to keep the skin tight and youthful. The process known as glycation does not only affect the skin. Sugar also weakens your blood cells and accelerates the aging of organs.

Dr. Shubham also warns that eating too much sweets can double the risk of diabetes, heart disease and brain-related problems. If you want to stay young and healthy, sweets can never be made a daily diet.
