Make soft and chewy Beef Shami Kabab at home in no time

Whether it's for an afternoon snack or on a special occasion, hot Beef Shami Kabab is a different kind of delight. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and full of the aroma of spices, the popularity of this kebab is not new. Chef Rubaida Rakhi shows how to make this delicious dish at home in less time and with fewer ingredients.
Ingredients
Beef (finely chopped) – 500 grams
Chola dal – half a cup
Onion, chopped – 1 medium
Ginger paste – 1 tablespoon
Garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
Green chillies – 4 (chopped)
Red chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
Jeera powder – half a teaspoon
Coriander powder – half a teaspoon
Garma masala powder – half a teaspoon
Egg – 1
Salt – to taste
Oil – for frying

Preparation:
Step 1:
Boil the beef, chickpea dal, ginger-garlic paste, salt and a little water together in a pressure cooker. When the dal and meat become soft, remove from the stove.
Step 2:
When the water dries up, cool it and blend it in a blender or a mixer to make a fine paste.

Step 3:
Now mix the paste with chopped onion or beresta, green chili, coriander powder, cumin powder and garam masala and mix well so that it has a texture like mince.
Step 4:
Make small round or flat kebabs from the mixture.
Step 5:
Dip each kebab in egg and fry in a little oil until golden brown on both sides.
Serve the hot shami kebab with chopped onion, lemon juice and tomato sauce. You can also use mint chutney or yogurt dip if you want.
