SS Rajamouli's much-awaited film 'Baahubali: The Epic'. The film has been in high demand and discussion since its release. This epic film starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia was released on October 31, and the premiere was held in select theaters the day before. And within just three days of its release, the film has surpassed the Hindi opening weekend record of 'Baahubali: The Beginning'.

According to Hindustan Times, according to trade analytics platform Saqqlniq, 'Baahubali: The Epic' earned an estimated Rs 4.46 crore in India on Sunday (November 2). Although slightly lower than the previous day, the three-day total collection stood at Rs 22.56 crore, surpassing the Hindi weekend collection of Rs 22.35 crore of 'Baahubali: The Beginning' released in 2015.

The film grossed Rs 9.65 crore on its first day, including the premiere, of which Rs 1.15 crore came from the premiere. On the second day, Saturday, despite a positive response, the collection fell to Rs 7.3 crore. The film's worldwide collection in the first two days stood at Rs 31.40 crore, which is the highest opening in Indian history for a re-released film.

'Baahubali: The Beginning' was released in 2015 and 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' was released in 2017. While the total length of the original two films was over five hours, the length of 'Baahubali: The Epic' version is 3 hours and 44 minutes. The film stars Prabhas as Shivuru and Amarendra Baahubali, Rana Daggubati as Bhallaladeva, Anushka Shetty as Devasena, and Tamannaah Bhatia as Avantika. Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, and Nassar also play important roles.
