Son arrested in murder of director Rob Reiner and wife

Los Angeles police have arrested Nick Reiner, the son of renowned Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle Singer Reiner, on suspicion of murder. Police said 32-year-old Nick Reiner has been arrested as a suspect and is being held without bail.

Rob Reiner (78) and his wife Michelle Reiner (68) were found dead with multiple stab wounds in their Brentwood, California, home on Sunday (December 14). The couple's 28-year-old daughter, Romy Reiner, was the first to see their bodies.

Police said Nick Reiner was arrested later that day at around 9:30 p.m. However, the police have not yet officially said anything about the motive behind the murder. Authorities said that the investigation is ongoing.

Rob Reiner is known as the director of several popular and memorable Hollywood films. His films include When Harry Met Sally, Stand by Me, A Few Good Men, etc. He is the son of legendary comedian Carl Reiner.
