Ameer Jamaat’s election tour begins on January 22

As part of the campaign ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections, Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Shafiqur Rahman will participate in a series of election tours from January 22. This information was given in a statement signed by Senior Publicity Assistant of the Central Publicity Department Mujibul Alam on Friday (January 16).
The statement said that Dr. Shafiqur Rahman will visit Dhaka metropolis on January 22. On that day, he will hold a public meeting in his constituency Dhaka-15 and address an election rally.
After that, he will visit North Bengal on January 23 (Friday). On that day, he will address a public meeting organized by Dinajpur District Jamaat at 2 pm at the local Gor-e-Shaheed Maidan as the chief guest. He will also address separate public meetings organized in Thakurgaon at 4 pm on the same day and in the divisional city Rangpur in the evening as the chief guest.
On the morning of January 24 (Saturday), the Jamaat Ameer will visit the grave of Abu Sayeed, the first martyr of the July Uprising. Later, he is scheduled to address a public meeting as the chief guest in Palashbari, Gaibandha district at 10 am.
