US orders citizens to leave 14 countries

The US State Department has urged US citizens in several Middle Eastern countries to leave immediately.

Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Mora Namdar said in a message on social media that due to the "serious security risks", the State Department is advising Americans to leave these countries as soon as possible and using currently operating transportation.

The countries mentioned in the warning are Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel and the Palestinian Territories, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen.

On the other hand, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed in a tweet that it had attacked territory or facilities in 15 countries in the last 24 hours.

The countries mentioned by the IRGC include Israel, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Iraq, Bahrain, Oman, Syria, Cyprus, France, Italy, and the United Kingdom.
