Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Advocate Md. Asaduzzaman has warned that if any government official commits corruption, not only will he lose his job, but a case will also be filed against the person involved.

He told reporters after a separate meeting with government officials and judges held at the conference room of the Jhenaidah District Commissioner's office at 10 am on Saturday (February 28).

In response to a question from Jugantar about the ordinances issued by the recently outgoing interim government, the Law Minister said, "We will present every ordinance that was constitutionally passed during the interim government in the form of a bill." Each of the 133 ordinances made during the interim government will be presented on the first day of the first session of Parliament.

The Law Minister said, "I have instructed the administration to take a neutral role in these issues such as drugs, terrorism, political corruption, and violence." He also commented that the image of the government's good work cannot be tarnished due to a few miscreants. In response to another question from the journalists present, the minister said that the government is committed to trying the fascists in accordance with the law.

Stating that this government is committed to establishing the rule of law, justice, and human rights, the Law Minister said that strict action will be taken against those who rape women and children in various parts of the country, including Narayanganj. The minister warned that if anyone gives shelter to the criminals, their roots will be uprooted.

At that time, Jhenaidah-2 constituency Member of Parliament Ali Azam Md. Abu Bakkar, Jhenaidah-3 constituency MP Matiar Rahman and Jhenaidah-4 constituency MP Md. Abu Talib, Deputy Commissioner Md. Abdullah Al Masud, Superintendent of Police Md. Mahfuz Afzal and government officials were present.

Apart from this, District BNP President Abdul Majid, heads of various departments and law enforcement officials were also present.
