It is not only because of eating fatty foods that such a belly will be formed. There may be other reasons for this. The layer of fat is accumulating right in the middle of the stomach. Even though there is not much fat in the whole body, the stomach is swelling. This is called 'cortisol belly'. More or less, many people suffer from this problem.
Some people gain weight by eating, while others become obese even by eating less. You have to worry about a big belly. But such a belly is not caused by food, it is the hormone that is responsible for it.
Cortisol is a stress hormone. The more mental stress increases, the higher the level of anxiety rises, the more cortisol secretion will increase. This hormone is not bad at all. Cortisol is one of the important regulatory hormones in the body. It is also called the life-giving hormone. The adrenal gland secretes the cortisol hormone. The pituitary gland controls how much of this hormone is released. The secretion of cortisol determines whether the body's blood pressure, metabolic rate, fat or sugar levels are correct. But if cortisol starts to be released in excess, then problems arise. The more pressure on the mind, the more the secretion of this hormone will increase.
And the more cortisol is released, the more the metabolic rate will change. Excess cortisol Cortisol increases the level of glucose in the blood, the desire to eat sweet and fried foods increases. Digestion decreases, as a result, the excess calories accumulate as fat. Therefore, it is useless to blame only food for a bloated belly, mental stress is also largely responsible.
Not just walking or running. This does not reduce cortisol belly easily. There are some special exercises for this. You have to do some yoga asanas, pilates, tai chi and stretching exercises.
Yoga Asana
Dhanurasana among yoga exercises reduces cortisol belly. This method is not very difficult. Lie on your stomach. Now bend your knees and bring your feet as far as possible to your back. Then take your hands behind you and press your heels or toes tightly. Now in the same way, raise both your legs as far as possible and bring them to your back. In this, your shoulders will be back, your chest will be stretched forward. Breathing should be kept normal. This asana should be done three times for 20-30 seconds.
Stretching
Forward Fold Stretching can be done to reduce belly fat. Stand straight. Then bend your waist and touch your feet with both hands. Tilt your head as far down as possible. Although it may be difficult to touch your feet at first, it will gradually become a habit. This exercise will stretch the whole body.
Pilates
Pelvic bridge is a good exercise to reduce belly fat. A Pilates ball is best for this. Now lie down on the floor. Place your feet on the ball. Place your hands parallel to both sides of the body. Slowly raise your waist and hips upward, so that the body is in a straight line. Hold for 10-20 seconds and return to the previous position.
Tai Chi
All the muscles of the body are exercised in Tai Chi practice. Strength increases and fat also decreases. To reduce belly fat, you can do lotus kick. Stand on one leg and kick the other leg. In this way, change legs in a few sets. As the strength of the leg muscles increases, fat will also decrease.
