Eid is just a few days away. After this, the entire Muslim world will be rejoicing in the joy of Eid. Bengali Muslims will also be rejoicing in the joy of Eid with that joy. Because Eid means joy, Eid means happiness. Every year, Eid brings a message of joy and celebration at the end of fasting. This festival is a great joy in our lives. We all forget our troubles and sorrows and enjoy ourselves together. It is a day of celebration and feasting.

And on this day of the festival, there are various arrangements for food. The main one is—Semai Mitshimukh. Phirni is one of the most popular and traditional special dishes for everyone for the morning. Let's find out, the easy recipe for making Phirni—

Ingredients

Polaw rice (1/4 cup). Milk (1 liter). Sugar (half a cup or to taste). Cardamom and cinnamon (2-3). Cashew and almonds chopped. 1 pinch of salt.

Method

First, soak 1/4 cup of sugar-coated rice for 1 hour and drain the water. Then grind the rice into a coarse paste in a blender or a pestle. Take 1 liter of milk in a heavy-bottomed vessel and heat it. When the milk boils, reduce the heat of the stove. Keep stirring the rice paste in the milk so that the lumps do not form. Cook for 10-15 minutes on medium-low heat until the rice is completely cooked.

When the rice is cooked, add 1/2 cup of sugar (to taste), 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder, 2-3 bay leaves and cinnamon. Then, when it thickens, you can add 1/4 cup of powdered milk and 1/3 cup of condensed milk for a more royal taste.

Finally, mix the cashews, almonds, chopped pistachios and saffron and cook for 1-2 minutes and remove from heat. Now pour it into an earthenware pot, cool it, sprinkle chopped pistachios on top and serve it on Eid morning. However, after removing the phirni, it becomes thicker when it cools, so keep the thickness accordingly and turn off the stove.
