Rana Daggubati has already written his name in the history of Indian cinema by playing the villain Bhallaladeva in the ‘Baahubali’ franchise. Director S.S. Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali: The Epic’ was recently re-released in theaters, and the actor is once again feeling the lasting impact of the film after seeing the excitement of the audience around it.

‘Baahubali’ was originally released in two parts. The first part was released in 2015 and the second part came in 2017. For the re-release, the two parts have been combined into a full-length film. Regarding the enthusiastic response of the audience, Rana said, a film actually lives forever. ‘Baahubali’ is an iconic film not only for our actors or producers, but for the entire Indian audience. The success and love of this film has shown us how big we can dream and how far Indian cinema can reach.

He added with pride that if people are celebrating this film even after 10 years, then it must be something special. Rana said that he could not see the audience response in the theatres in India, but he saw the re-release in IMAX at a Chinese theatre in Los Angeles and called it a great experience.

He added that our goal is to get there. Once done, it is possible again, with the right team and the right work ethic, special things can happen again. That is what we are working towards.

Baahubali has created a milestone in the history of Indian cinema. Directed by S. S. Rajamouli, this epic two-part film has won the hearts of audiences across India and the world. The film features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan, among others, in extraordinary performances. Their strong performances, powerful story and VFX make Baahubali a topic of discussion even today.
