The film is directed by Mehedi Hasan Hridoy. Produced by Azim Harun and Shahrin Akhter Sumi. Kolkata actress Sushmita Chatterjee is going to make her debut in Dhallywood through the film 'Rakshas' opposite Siam.

Regarding the progress of the film, the director said that the work of the film is now in the final stages of post-production or editing. As part of the promotion, after recently releasing a still, the official poster was brought to the audience this week as promised.

Earlier, director Mehdi Hasan Hridoy had said that there will be three times more violence in 'Rakshas' than his first film 'Barbad'.

Producer Shahrin Akhter Sumi said, 'Rakshas is a crazy love story, which is associated with family drama. Such a crazy love story has not been seen on screen for a long time. We believe that the film will become a favorite of the audience this Eid.'
