Hollywood superstar George Clooney and international human rights lawyer Amal Clooney are preparing for a big change in their family life. Leaving the glamour of the world behind, the couple has decided to permanently live in a secluded village in France with their eight-year-old twins.
The 64-year-old actor and his wife Amal Clooney, 48, are going to start a new chapter in their lives in a quiet farmhouse in the Brignoles area of France. It is reported that they will officially start living here after recently obtaining French citizenship. Their move is mainly aimed at maintaining the privacy of their children and a life free from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood.
In an interview, George Clooney said that their decision was to keep their children away from the excessive public attention and paparazzi. In a statement given to ‘Hello Canada’, he said, ‘Here (in France) children are not photographed. There are no paparazzi lurking at the school gates. For us, the safety of our children and the privacy of our private lives are our top priorities.’
It is worth noting that George Clooney has long been trying to maintain a balance between his film career and his personal life. This new address in France will therefore become the main focus of their family from now on.
According to a report by ‘People’ magazine, since they first met in 2013, George and Amal Clooney’s relationship was one of mutual values and deep partnership. They got married in a grand ceremony in Venice on September 27, 2014. In 2017, they were blessed with twins.
