What US Senator Said About Ground Operations in Iran

US Senator Lindsey Graham has said that there is no need to send troops for a ground operation in Iran. However, he also believes that the war could last for several more weeks.

While speaking to reporters in the capital Washington, DC, the Republican senator said, “I don’t think this conflict is going to end today.”

He said, “Our goal is to ensure that they (Iran) do not regain the capabilities they had before, so that they do not have the ability to build missiles that can target us and that they never go back to a nuclear program.”

Graham also said, “This situation could last for several more weeks. Then we will assess the whole situation.”
