Remittances worth 26 billion taka in 22 days of November

Remittances worth 213.49 million 90 thousand dollars came in on 22 days of November this year. Which is 26.46 billion taka in Bangladeshi currency. Bangladesh Bank released this information on Sunday (November 23).

424.70 million dollars came through state-owned banks. In addition, 217.88 million dollars came through specialized banks, 148.89 million dollars through private banks and 4.5 million dollars through foreign sector banks.

Bangladesh Bank also said that 612.27 million dollars came into the country from November 16 to 22. 764.80 million dollars came into the country from November 9 to 15.

711.70 million dollars came into the country from November 2 to 8. And on the first day of November, expatriates sent 431.80 million dollars. Earlier, remittances worth 2.56 billion 3.48 billion and 2.68 billion 5.88 billion US dollars came into the country in October and September respectively. And remittances worth 2.42 billion 1.89 billion and 2.47 billion 8 million dollars came into the country in August and July respectively.
