Iranian President Masoud Pajhwok has announced that the nuclear facilities damaged by the US attack will be rebuilt more powerfully than before. However, he stressed that Iran's goal is not to produce nuclear weapons.
In comments made to state media on Sunday (November 2) local time, Pajhwok said, "Our progress cannot be stopped by destroying buildings and factories. We will rebuild - more strongly," Arab News reported.
He made these comments during a meeting with officials from the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran in Tehran. Recently, US President Donald Trump warned that if Iran tries to restart nuclear facilities, the US will launch new attacks.
In June this year, the US attacked several Iranian facilities, which Washington claims were part of a weapons program. However, Tehran has always said that its nuclear program is only for civilian and medical technology development.
