Trump’s head price announced at 123 million taka

The Iraqi armed group Islamic Resistance in Iraq (IRI) has announced a price of 10 million dollars on the head of US President Donald Trump. This reward is equivalent to about 123 million 12 lakh taka in Bangladeshi currency.

The pro-Iranian organization said on Thursday that anyone who can kill Trump will be given this money as a reward.

Referring to Trump as a criminal, the Islamic Resistance said in a statement that a reward of 10 million dollars has been allocated from donations received from their members and supporters. The person, institution or group that kills the criminal Trump will receive this reward.

The statement said, 'Freedom-loving people of the world will continue to try to find the killer of children and scientists. Dictators will never find peace. The criminal (Trump) will not find a safe haven from the wrath of honorable people.'

The Islamic Resistance also stated in the statement that revenge is a 'compulsory commitment' for the fighters. It has been said, ‘The blood of the martyrs will become a curse and shake the thrones of the arrogant; until the invaders are defeated and the fortresses of tyranny collapse.’

Meanwhile, Gulf News reported that Trump, in a recent White House meeting in Washington with Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi, said that he had a role in the killing of Iranian senior military commander General Qassem Soleimani and Iraqi militia leader Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis in 2020.

President Trump’s public admission was not well received by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq. The organization announced the price on Trump’s head after this.
