Pakistan calls for restraint from US, Iran

Pakistan's Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has called for a "de-escalation" with the US and "all parties involved in the US-Iran conflict to exercise restraint."
He made the call in a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
A statement from the Pakistani Foreign Ministry said the two sides exchanged views on the regional situation.
The statement stressed that dialogue and diplomacy are the only effective means to resolve disputes and achieve lasting peace and stability in the region.
