A very important facility in Kuwait's oil sector has been severely damaged in a series of Iranian and brutal attacks. The country's state news agency KUNA confirmed this information, citing the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said in a statement on Saturday (July 18), that a sudden and series of attacks by Iran targeted a key site in the oil sector. In addition to causing extensive damage to the facility, several workers were injured.
The statement also said that immediate action was taken to provide the injured with necessary medical assistance and the general public was safely evacuated from the entire site.
Currently, close coordination and joint efforts are being made with the relevant state authorities in Kuwait to bring the situation under control and deal with the damage. However, the incident has sparked renewed tensions in the Middle East's energy sector and geopolitics.
