Hridoy’s stormy century fades Hasan’s 107

For the eighth time in the BPL, two centuries were seen in the same match. Noakhali Express batted first and scored 172 runs, relying on Hasan Isakhil's 107 runs. However, Rangpur won with a stormy innings of 109 runs off 63 balls by Towhid Hridoy.
In the end, even though Hridoy was not on the field, Rangpur reached the target of victory with 2 balls and 8 wickets in hand. This is Rangpur's sixth win in this league. On the other hand, newcomer Noakhali Express left the field with their eighth loss in 10 matches. Rangpur, who have already secured the play-offs, is looking forward to playing the qualifiers. However, this will be finalized after today's (January 18) Chittagong-Dhaka match.
Batting with a target of 174 runs, Rangpur got 78 runs in 8 overs from the opening partnership of Hridoy-David Malan. Then Hridoy-Liton put on an 87-run partnership for the second wicket. Hridoy scored a fifty off 27 balls and then scored a century off 57 balls.
This is the third century in the current season. Two were scored in this match. And this is Hridoy's second century in the BPL. Rangpur captain Liton Das was unbeaten on 39 runs off 35 balls.
