Pakistan beats India to become champions

Samir Minhas' explosive innings gave Pakistan a huge haul. Then, their bowlers kept India in check from the start in the run chase. In this, Pakistan U-19 team beat India in the U-19 Asia Cup final and won the title.
On Sunday (December 21) in Dubai, Pakistan built a huge capital of 347 runs for 8 wickets on the back of Samir Minhas' innings of 172 runs off 113 balls. In reply, India was all out for just 156 runs in 26.2 overs.
Chasing the huge target set by Pakistan, India started to struggle from the beginning. Dipesh Devendran, who came out to bat at number 10, played the highest innings of 36 runs with the bat. Except for opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi's 26 runs, no other Indian batsman could cross the quota of twenty.
Pakistan pacer Ali Raza was the biggest destroyer in India's innings. He took four wickets for 42 runs in 6.2 overs. Muhammad Sayem, Abdul Subhan and Huzaifa Ahsan also took two wickets each.
Earlier, Pakistan opener Minhas, who was elected to bat first after losing the toss, scored 172 runs off 113 balls with 17 fours and 9 sixes. Middle-order batsman Ahmed Hussain also scored 56 runs. Dipesh Devendran took the highest wicket for India with 3 wickets.
