Bangladesh concede late goals

Bangladesh once again missed out on a win in a FIFA friendly match against Nepal. Although Hamza Chowdhury's double in the second half gave the team a 2-1 lead, Javier Cabrera's team was forced to draw 2-2 after conceding a goal from a corner in the third minute of injury time.
Bangladesh could not break the old cycle of conceding goals at the last minute, which is a big cause for concern before the match against India on November 18.
Bangladesh was out of rhythm in the first half of the match against Nepal at the National Stadium on Thursday (November 13). Jamal Bhuiyan's team fell behind 1-0 to Nepal's Rohit Chand's goal in the 32nd minute. Despite having more possession of the ball, forwards Rakib and Faisal Ahmed Fahim wasted scoring opportunities.
However, after the break, coach Cabrera changed the course of the match by bringing on Samit Som for defensive midfielder Sohel Rana. At the beginning of the second half, Hamza Chowdhury tied the game with a bicycle kick from Fahim's cross, which was passed by captain Jamal. The stadium erupted in jubilation after the rare goal like a bicycle kick.
Three minutes later, the Sri Lankan referee blew the whistle for a penalty when forward Rakib Hossain was fouled in the box. Hamza scored from that penalty to give the team a 2-1 lead. With the double goal, Hamza's international goal tally in this match reached 4.
But the end of the game was extremely disappointing. When it seemed that victory was certain after the scheduled 90 minutes, Anant Tamang flicked a goal from a corner with great skill in the third minute of injury time to equalize Nepal (2-2). Like the Hong Kong match, Bangladesh conceded a goal at the last minute. Cuba Mitchell made his debut in the second half.
