The genocidal Israel and its ally the United States are jointly carrying out an aggression against Iran. In response, the US intelligence agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), warned that Tehran could launch a direct attack on American soil.

According to a security bulletin, the intelligence agency issued this warning to US law enforcement agencies last month. They said that Tehran could try to launch a surprise drone attack on California in retaliation for the US attack on Iran.

The FBI issued this secret warning through the ‘Los Angeles Joint Regional Intelligence Center’, which is composed of several agencies. The warning was made public on Wednesday (March 11) as the war, which began with the massive bombing of Iran by the US and Israel on February 28, entered its 12th day.

Speaking to reporters at the White House before the FBI's security bulletin was released, US President Donald Trump dismissed the possibility of an Iranian-backed attack on the United States. California Governor Gavin Newsom said he was not aware of any "imminent threat" to the state.

An unclassified copy of the security bulletin was not dated. But its text clearly indicates that it was issued before the war began and that the possibility of an Iranian retaliatory attack on the US mainland was already being considered. It cited FBI information that Iran had planned to launch a surprise attack on California targets in early February, “allegedly using unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) from seagoing vessels,” if “the United States attacked Iran.”

The bulletin also said, “We have no additional information regarding the timing, method, target, or perpetrators of any such attack.” However, the FBI declined to comment on the bulletin.
