The host country, Saudi Arabia, is dreaming of making the 2034 World Cup one of the most expensive, technologically advanced and futuristic events in history. They are planning to build a skyscraper stadium that the football world has never seen before.
According to Saudi media reports, the proposed stadium will be built on a 1,150-foot skyscraper, which will be the highest sports venue in the history of the world. According to the previously scheduled plan, the 2034 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to be held in the Middle Eastern country of Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia has announced the construction of the world's first 'sky stadium' in view of this football mega-event. Due to this exceptional feature, the stadium has been named Nemo Sky Stadium. This stadium will be located in the future city 'The Line' to be built under Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which will be built at a height of 1,150 feet above the ground. The project will be a symbol of innovation, entertainment and sustainable development.
The budget for the Nemo Sky Stadium is estimated at 1 billion US dollars. The stadium, built in the sky, will be able to accommodate about 46,000 spectators at a time and will be built entirely from environmentally friendly materials.
According to the published plans, the Sky Stadium will host several matches from the group stage to the quarter-finals of the 2034 FIFA World Cup. Construction of this unique infrastructure is expected to begin in 2026 and be completed by 2032.
