The monsoon season is underway. And monsoon means rain, damp environment and a serious problem - drying wet clothes. Especially during the monsoon, those who live in cities or flats do not get much sun in their homes. At this time, drying clothes after washing them is like a kind of war. An even bigger problem is that when it takes a long time to dry wet clothes, they start to smell bad.

Almost all the members of the household are worried about washing and drying clothes in the monsoon. However, with a little intelligence, that worry can be removed. An Indian media outlet has published a report about that smart method of drying clothes. So let's find out about it.

Is it possible to dry clothes without the sun:

It is often seen during the monsoon that there is no sun for 3-4 days in a row. In this situation, it seems impossible to dry clothes. However, if you cannot dry wet clothes, they start to smell again. That is why those clothes need to be washed again. But there is a method that allows you to dry clothes without the sun and the machine, and that too beautifully.

Sheet and fan or heater:
For this, select an open area or a place next to the window. Now hang the wet clothes on a stand and cover those clothes well with a large sheet, so that it surrounds them. Now turn on the fan or heater from outside the sheet. The air from the fan or the heat from the heater will absorb the moisture from the sheet and the clothes will dry in a short time. As a result, no bad smell will come out of the clothes. Time will also be saved, and the clothes will also remain soft.

Why is this method effective:
When air circulates, clothes do not smell bad. Due to being covered with a sheet, the heat from the fan or heater circulates from inside. Moisture goes away quickly and fungus or bacteria do not form.

What should be avoided:
Do not close all the doors and windows of the house and run the fan. As a result, the room will become stuffy and the clothes will smell even more. Wet clothes cannot be kept on top of each other. There should be space between the clothes for air circulation. Do not wash too many clothes at the same time on the same day. If there is less space, the drying capacity will decrease.

Advice:
If you use a washing machine, you can use the extra spin mode. After washing the clothes, drain the water lightly. Using lemon-flavored fabric conditioner will reduce the smell.
