The court has ordered popular small screen actress Tanjin Tisha to appear in a case filed on charges of fraud and breach of trust over a saree. On Sunday (July 12), the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Jewel Rana court issued a summons against the actress and ordered her to appear in court on August 13.

This information was confirmed by the plaintiff's lawyer Salimullah Sarkar on the day. Earlier, on November 5, the case was filed in the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Jewel Rana court by 'Aponia Fashion' executive Md. Aminul Islam.

According to Malla's complaint, Tanjin Tisha selected a saree worth Tk 28,800 from an online page called 'Aponia'. The saree was delivered to her house on January 18. As per the condition, she assured him through voice and text messages that she would wear the saree and promote the page.

However, the complaint states that even after 10 months, he did not get promoted and did not have any contact with the page authorities for more than six months. He has broken trust by cheating. The court took cognizance of the case, accepted the plaintiff's statement and ordered the Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) to investigate and submit a report.

The plaintiff's lawyer said that the court took cognizance of the report recently submitted by the DB and issued a summons to actress Tanjin Tisha to appear in court.

He said that the case was filed in November 2025 after receiving no response even after sending a legal notice. Later, the DB investigated and submitted a report as per the court's order. He claimed that the primary truth about the allegations was found in it.
