Father taught me the magic of filmmaking: Aryan

Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan has come into the limelight with his first web series 'The Badass of Bollywood'. Although he is new to production, the series has already managed to grab the attention of the audience. In his first interview after the success of the series, Aryan said that his love for filmmaking came from his father.

According to NDTV, in an interview given to Variety, Aryan said, "My father himself understands every aspect of filmmaking very deeply, be it VFX, lighting, camera work or visual effects. Since childhood, he used to show me how to bring a scene to life on screen without actually doing it. For example, 'You are not actually getting shot, this is how it happens.' or 'How a plane is shown flying, but in reality it is not flying.' All these seemed like magic to me as a child.

Aryan also said that during the boredom of the Corona lockdown, they made a short film about Shah Rukh Khan and sister Suhana Khan. He said, we wrote a short film at home to pass the time and we shot it in our own house. Suhana and father acted, and I worked as a DOP at that time.

Regarding the direction of the web series 'The Badass of Bollywood', Aryan said that they wanted the series to be self-mocking, but not disrespectful in any way. Aryan said, we wanted to make fun of ourselves, but without hurting anyone. When we are a part of the industry and making something about the industry, it is important to have respect for it. Being able to laugh at ourselves is the most important aspect of comedy.

The success of the web series directed by Aryan has proven that Aryan is not just a star child, but is also capable of creating his own place in Bollywood with his own thoughts and artistic vision. In the first series, he proved himself as a talented young filmmaker.
