Actress Ahona Rahman has commented that if late film star Salman Shah was alive, Bangladesh’s film industry would have been ahead of India’s Bollywood.
She made this comment in a recent interview.
Ahona said, ‘If Salman Shah was alive, Bangladesh’s industry would have been ahead of Bollywood. Because one picture always comes to the fore, Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Salman Shah and his wife. Just by looking at that picture, you can understand what Salman Shah was like at that time.’
‘And many still copy his style. You can’t just call him a hero like him. It’s not that easy,’ added this popular actress of the small screen.
She said, ‘Have you ever thought about what would have happened if Salman Shah and Shah Rukh had made a movie together? Artists from Bangladesh would have gone to act in Bollywood, artists from Bollywood would have come and made movies in Dhallywood. That would have been the case, but it is not happening, it will not happen.’
On September 6, 1996, Salman Shah’s body was found hanging from a fan in his house in Eskaton, Dhaka. After that, multiple agencies including the police, CID, RAB, PBI, etc. conducted an investigation. Finally, a murder case has been filed in connection with his death on the orders of the court.
