Advance bookings have begun for the Indian Kannada film industry's 'Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1'. The audience is more excited about the second part of this film by the industry's popular actor and producer Rishabh Shetty than the first part. The film will be released in theaters after a few days.
According to media reports, the movie 'Kantara' released in 2022 was a blockbuster. The movie, made on a budget of just 16 crores, earned more than 400 crores worldwide. And now the sequel of that movie is going to be released after a few days. As a result, the audience's interest is also quite high.
The makers are quite confident about the sequel of the movie 'Kantara'. On the day of the release of 'Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1', there will be 5,195 shows across India. After that, the hall owners can increase or decrease the show by seeing how much the audience responds.
However, considering the advance booking statistics, it is seen that the number of screens is very unlikely to decrease. According to the Sarbharat Box Office Collection, the advance booking statistics of the movie show that 1,31,491 tickets have been sold for the second part.
Focusing on the craze of the first part of the movie, actor and producer Rishabh Shetty has decided to release the second part 'Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1' in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages in addition to Kannada. On the day of release, the audience will be able to see the movie only in 2D. In terms of income, the second part has already earned 9 crores from advance bookings. This includes blocked seats. This number is also expected to increase with time.
Advance bookings for Kannada language 'Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1' began on September 26. Bookings for Hindi, Malayalam and other versions began on September 28. The phenomenal revenue in just a few days shows that the audience is very interested in the film.
Apart from Rishabh Shetty, the second part of the film also stars Jayaram, Rukmini Vasantha, Gulshan Deviya and others. Rishabh Shetty's film is scheduled to be released in theatres on October 2.
