Visa does not guarantee entry to the United States: US Embassy

The Bangladesh Embassy in Dhaka has said that visa does not guarantee entry to the United States. The embassy said this in a statement on Saturday.

It states, "A US visa does not guarantee travel to the United States. The duration and conditions of your entry into the country are determined by the immigration officer in charge of the port of entry. If you stay in the United States for longer than your permit or engage in activities not permitted by your visa type, you may be permanently barred from traveling to the United States in the future. It is your responsibility to use your visa correctly."
