BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman is delivering a speech as the chief guest at an election rally.

BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has commented that a political party is talking disparagingly about women. He made this comment while speaking as the chief guest at an election rally organized at Jessore Sub-city Degree College Ground on Monday (February 2) afternoon.

Tarique Rahman said that a top leader of a political party told an international media outlet how they see women. They are busy with how to keep women at home. He said that half of the country's population, who disrespect women and abuse them in ugly language, cannot be patriotic or people-oriented in any way.

The BNP Chairman said that if the country is to be rebuilt, it will not be possible to differentiate between men and women. Both men and women will have to work. We have decided that if we are able to form a government, women will be given family cards.

He said, "They have started conspiring with the elections in the same way as they did during the previous dictatorships. Be vigilant and careful about those who want to seize votes by lying."
