The 68th Grammy Awards were held at the Crypto Arena in Los Angeles, USA, on Monday (February 2) morning. Rapper Kendrick Lamar received the highest number of 9 nominations in this biggest event in world music, while Lady Gaga received seven nominations.
The Recording Academy gave awards in a total of 95 categories this year. 86 awards were announced in the pre-broadcast phase, and there were 9 major and performance-based categories in the main event. Kendrick Lamar made history this year. He broke the record for the most wins among rappers by winning 5 Grammys. Previously, this record was held by Jay-Z, who had 25 Grammys. Kendrick Lamar's Grammys now stand at 27.
