US President Donald Trump has claimed that US surveillance capabilities over Iran are almost complete, saying that even Iranians cannot escape US surveillance even when they go to the bathroom.
Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump said the United States is seeing everything that Iran is doing.
He said Iran was trying to rebuild a new radar system, missile system and the ability to lay mines in the Strait of Hormuz. These equipment were destroyed in the US attack.
"We saw what they were building," Trump said. "We can see everything they're doing. They can't escape our surveillance. They can't even go to the bathroom. So we saw it and we destroyed it."
The latest round of retaliation between the United States and Iran has been the deadliest since July, with at least 18 people killed and around 108 injured in Iran, according to the report. Tehran claims that the US carried out strikes in various areas of Iran's southern coast.
Meanwhile, Trump has also made big claims about the Strait of Hormuz. He said the United States now has "very strong control" over the strategically important waterway. He also claimed that millions of barrels of oil ships pass through the Strait of Hormuz every day.
