Khamenei’s assassination is a declaration of war on the Muslim world

The United States and Israel have assassinated Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The Islamic Republic has vowed to take harsh revenge in protest. At the same time, the country's President Masoud Pajhwok said that the assassination is a declaration of war on the Muslim world.
On Sunday (March 1), the Iranian president said that the assassination of Supreme Leader Khamenei in a US and Israeli attack was a 'declaration of war on Muslims'.
In a statement broadcast on state television, Pajhwok said that the assassination of the highest political authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran and a prominent leader of Shiite ideology around the world is being considered an open declaration of war against Muslims, especially Shiites, all over the world.
Pajhwok also said that it is the right and obligation of the Islamic Republic to avenge the assassination of the Supreme Leader.
He said that the Islamic Republic of Iran considers it its legitimate duty and right to take revenge against the planners and perpetrators of this historic crime.
