Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has warned of taking big action against infiltrators if power changes in West Bengal. He made this announcement at a public meeting held in Malda district of the state ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in West Bengal.

At that time, Narendra Modi said, ‘A big problem facing Bengal is infiltration. You have seen that in all the rich and developed countries of the world, where there is no shortage of money, they are also expelling infiltrators from their countries. It is very important to expel these infiltrators from West Bengal as well.’

Modi asked everyone present, ‘Should these infiltrators be expelled? Should the infiltrators be identified one by one and sent back to their own countries? But is it possible to send these infiltrators back if there is a Trinamool government? Will the people of the Trinamool protect your land? Will they protect your mothers and sisters? Who will drive out these infiltrators?’

Then the answer from the crowd came ‘BJP’. The country’s Prime Minister accused the Trinamool Congress and said, ‘The Trinamool leaders have been organizing these infiltrators for years and have been playing the game of making them voters. The infiltrators are snatching the rights of the poor people. They are snatching the jobs of the new generation, torturing mothers and sisters. They are encouraging panic and various criminal activities in the entire country.’

He also said that there is a change in the demographics in many places in West Bengal. He said, ‘In many places, the difference in language and speech has also changed. Due to the increase in the number of infiltrators, riots have increased in many places in West Bengal including Malda, Murshidabad in the last few years. You have to break this alliance of infiltrators and those in power.' After that, Modi said, 'I assure you that as soon as the BJP government is formed, major steps will be taken against infiltration and infiltrators.'

The Prime Minister of India also raised the issue of persecution of Hindu followers, including Bangladesh, and neighboring countries. He said, Hindu refugees who came to India from neighboring Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Pakistan after being subjected to religious persecution will be given Indian citizenship. People from the Matua and Nama Shudra communities - who are our refugees, who have come to India after being subjected to religious persecution in neighboring countries and have come to India to escape violence - have no reason to fear. The Constitution has given these people the right to stay in India. Refugees have been given full protection through the amended Citizenship Act (CAA). The development work of Matua and Nama Shudra refugees will gain momentum only if the BJP government is formed.'

Calling for real change from today's meeting, the Prime Minister said, 'The entire country is working towards the goal of a developed India by 2047. And for this purpose, the development of eastern India is very important. But for the last few decades, the politics of hatred had kept the states of northern India in limbo. But the BJP has freed these states from the politics of hatred. The BJP-led NDA alliance has come to power in the states of Odisha, Assam, Tripura and even a few days ago in Bihar. Good governance is flowing in those states. Now it is the turn of good governance in Bengal too. And for this reason, after winning Bihar, I said that with the blessings of Mother Ganga, the Ganges of development will flow in Bengal too and the BJP will do this work.'

The Prime Minister of the country, accusing the ruling party of the state, the Trinamool Congress, of mismanagement, loot and oppression, raised the slogan, 'Change is needed, we want a BJP government.' He said, 'The people of West Bengal will be better only when the Trinamool government, which has obstructed various activities, leaves and a development-oriented BJP government is formed.' Narendra Modi also expressed the hope that the people of this state will vote for the BJP and bring it to power.
