US leaks information about secret meeting with Russia to Ukraine

The United States has provided Ukraine with information about some important meetings recently held in the Russian capital, Moscow, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video message on Friday night (August 29). 

He said that they had regular talks with the United States before and after the successive meetings in Moscow. The United States provided all the information to Ukraine.

Thanking the United States for its cooperation, Zelensky said that it is commendable that the United States is moving in the right direction in negotiations with Russia. The United States is working with a very realistic approach to stopping this war. 

He also said that Russia must stop this war and take all necessary steps to do so. However, Zelensky did not say directly who exactly was present at those meetings in Moscow.

On the other hand, Russia confirmed that CIA chief John Ratcliffe visited Moscow on Tuesday. This is the first time a CIA chief has visited Russia since 2021. Russia sees this communication between the intelligence agencies of the two countries as positive. The fact of the visit is also clear from the information on special flights.

US President Donald Trump described the CIA chief's visit as a "normal and routine event". Later, in response to questions from reporters, Trump said he had a "very good conversation" with Russian President Vladimir Putin. 

Trump assured Putin that he would not attack any NATO country. Trump also expressed his strong belief that Russia would not attack NATO.
