$10 million reward announced for killing Trump’s son!

The US Secret Service has been alerted to a video circulating on Iranian state media purporting to threaten to kill US President Donald Trump's youngest son, Barron Trump. The video, which was broadcast on Iranian state media, hints at the possible location and method of killing the 20-year-old.

"The Secret Service is aware of the video and we investigate any matter that could be considered a threat to our protected persons," Secret Service spokesman Nate Herring said in a statement to CNN. "However, for security reasons, we do not discuss such intelligence in detail."

The nearly three-minute video begins with a graphic in English that reads, "Where to Kill Barron Trump?!" Then, graphics of places where Barron is known to have traveled in public are shown. This includes Trump Tower in New York.

At the end of the video, the narrator says, "People are eagerly waiting to receive our $10 million prize."

The video was aired over the weekend by Iran's state broadcaster, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), which is considered closely linked to hardliners in Iran and whose head is directly appointed by the country's supreme leader.

A US federal law enforcement official told CNN that the video is part of a series of videos released from Iran targeting Trump and his family members. Some of the videos include information on the movements of members of the president's family and even suggestions for their assassination, he said.

The official also said that security arrangements for the president and his family are regularly changed and adjusted based on various types of security information received from the Secret Service, other government agencies, local police, and various countries.

CNN has sought comment from the White House on this matter.

President Trump has previously publicly stated that Iran has threatened his life. He said at a NATO summit in Turkey in July, "I'm on whatever list... I've been lucky so far, but it may not last long. These are evil, sick people."

Trump's trip was planned in secret before the comments, due to threats from Iran. He was evacuated from Turkey on an alternative military plane after the Iranian threat. The process of getting Trump on board was also handled with great secrecy.

Since the killing of top Iranian military commander Qassem Soleimani on Trump's orders in 2020, the United States has repeatedly warned that Iran could try to assassinate Trump.

Posters calling for the assassination of Trump were also seen during days of mourning following the death of Iran's former supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in July this year, with a bounty announced for avenging his death.
