US President Donald Trump has indicated that he will focus on Cuba after the ongoing conflict in Iran ends. He said that steps will be taken regarding Cuba only after the situation in Iran is resolved. He made these comments while talking to reporters during a recent visit to the White House by the players of the football club Inter Miami.

Trump thanked his administration's Secretary of State Marco Rubio for his extraordinary work on the Cuba issue. He claimed that the changing environment that is being created in Cuba is positive for the United States. However, Trump said that the main focus is on the Iran crisis.

In the meantime, the Trump administration has tightened the existing sanctions on Cuba, so that the country's weak economy is under further pressure. Cuba, which has been in economic crisis due to long-standing US sanctions, was largely dependent on Venezuelan oil.

However, the situation has become more complicated after the US operation in the kidnapping of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. Cubans were among the dozens of people killed in Venezuela in the operation.

Regarding US military interventions around the world, Trump said, "We have had extraordinary success in all sorts of ways. In my first term, I built and rebuilt the military, and we are using it."

Citing Venezuela and Iran as examples, he claimed that the United States has had significant success in these operations.

According to analysts, the Trump administration is seeking to strengthen its geopolitical influence by increasing military and strategic activity worldwide. If new tensions arise over Cuba after the Iran crisis, it could increase the risk of another major conflict in international politics.
