In view of the global situation, the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources has issued advance warning directives on energy conservation. At the same time, all citizens of the country have been requested to take energy conservation measures.

The directive states that due to the ongoing geopolitical situation in the Middle East, there is a risk of disruption in the international energy supply system. In this situation, the government feels the need to take some advance warning measures to ensure national energy security and ensure the best use of energy resources.

In this context, all government institutions, autonomous organizations, private institutions, commercial establishments and conscious citizens of the country have been urged to take various energy conservation measures immediately.

The directive for natural gas conservation states that the most economical methods should be followed in using gas for cooking and other purposes. Unnecessary use of gas-powered appliances should be avoided and leakage-related waste should be prevented by regularly checking gas pipelines and burners. At the same time, it has been urged to refrain from using gas illegally.

To reduce fuel consumption, it has been asked to use public transport instead of private vehicles and to encourage car-pooling arrangements if possible. In addition, it has been advised to limit or avoid unnecessary travel as much as possible.

Government offices and institutions have been instructed to take necessary measures to ensure energy conservation during and after office hours. At the same time, commercial institutions have been urged to take economical steps in energy consumption and refrain from excessive fuel consumption.

The ministry has requested all concerned institutions and citizens to take necessary measures to implement these instructions and take initiatives to raise public awareness. The government has sought everyone's cooperation to ensure national energy security.
